Your first week does not need every ProfitJam feature. Aim for one complete working loop: accurate business context, one live page, one connected channel, one reviewed piece of content, and one place to check the result.

This order keeps each step useful on its own and gives the next step better information to work with.

Day 1: review the Business Brain

Open Studio → Business Brain. The Overview shows which sections are building, which questions need an answer, and which sections are ready to refine.

Start with Your Business, Audience, Offer, Positioning, Brand voice, and Hard rules. Correct outdated services, unclear audiences, inaccurate prices, generic voice guidance, and claims the business should not make.

The current Business Brain becomes the context ProfitJam uses for later generation, so a focused review now saves repeated corrections later.

For the full review flow, see Set up your Business Brain.

Day 2: put one page live

Open Pages and finish the page that gives a new visitor the clearest next step. That may be the home page or a focused landing page for the first offer.

Review the page in Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile, then use Preview page to test its navigation, buttons, links, and forms. When it is ready, select Publish to send that page live.

Published ProfitJam pages include first-party tracking for page activity. Preview is for checking the experience and does not create that live activity.

For page preparation and launch checks, see Launch your first site.

Day 3: connect one channel

Choose the channel where your customers are most likely to see and act on the first message.

  1. Open Integrations.
  2. Find the provider and select Connect.
  3. Complete the provider's sign-in and permission screen.
  4. Return to Integrations → Installed and confirm the connection shows as Connected.

One working channel is enough for the first loop. You can add another after you have reviewed how the first content performs.

See Connect a channel for destinations, connection health, and reconnecting.

Day 4: create and adapt one post

Open Content, select Create, then choose Social post. Start from a ready-made Business Brain topic or choose Write your own for a blank post.

In Write, make the hook, message, and call to action clear. Turn on the connected network in Channels, then open Adapt & Review and select Adapt to platforms. Read the channel version before saving it; adaptation is a starting point, not a substitute for your final review.

The Social posts guide covers canonical copy, channel versions, media, and the per-platform status view.

Day 5: schedule and check the placement

Open the post and select Publish. Choose the connected channel and its exact Page, account, board, or author when requested. Then choose Publish now, ASAP, Blend with my schedule, or Pick a time.

Review the concrete date, time, destination, and copy shown before confirming. Each selected channel becomes its own placement with its own status.

Open Schedule to see the placement in Calendar. Use its Month, Week, or List view to confirm what is scheduled or published.

For timing choices and queue controls, see Scheduling & queues.

Important: Automatic timing guidance currently resolves quiet hours and engagement windows in UTC. Check the concrete time before confirming it for your audience.

Check Reports after the daily update

Open Reports → Overview after the next daily collection. Choose Last 7 days for the clearest view of the new activity, then use Data check to see the latest date received from each source.

Reports is a daily view rather than a live counter. A new page view or social interaction may not appear immediately, and a newly published page or post may simply have no activity yet.

See The results dashboard for the 7-, 30-, and 90-day views, comparisons, channel totals, top performers, and source freshness.

What to do next

Once this loop is working, repeat what helped rather than expanding everything at once. Add the next important page, connect a second proven channel, or turn one Business Brain topic into a coordinated set of drafts with Build a campaign.

Campaign generation creates drafts. Open and publish each content piece separately so its copy, destination, and timing stay deliberate.

Common questions

Can I complete the first steps in one afternoon?

Yes. Review the Business Brain and publish one useful page first. Connect and publish through one channel when those foundations are ready.

Do generated posts publish automatically?

No. Creating or adapting content does not send it live. You make the publishing choice for each piece and destination.

Why is Reports empty?

Reports needs activity from a published ProfitJam page or a reporting source. Allow the next daily collection to run, then check Data check for the latest source date.

Should I connect every channel in the first week?

No. Start with the channel most relevant to the first message. Add another when you are ready to create, review, and maintain content for it.
