Your first site does not need to begin with a blank canvas. Choose a kit, import an existing page, or start from scratch, then establish the design and reusable sections that will make every later page easier to build. Once that foundation exists, ProfitJam can generate new pages one at a time in the same direction.

Tip: Already have a site you are keeping? You can build and publish individual ProfitJam pages without moving its domain. Importing a page into ProfitJam does not change the original website.

Before you start

Check the information that generated pages will use:

  • Make the Offer section clear about each product or service, its price, and the result it provides.
  • Make the Audience section specific enough to guide useful headlines and examples.
  • Set your colors, typography, and logo under Settings → Branding.
  • Add company and contact details under Settings → Company.

Open Business Brain → Overview and correct important mistakes before generating several pages. Business Brain changes guide future generation; they do not rewrite pages you already created.

Choose how to start

Open Pages → Create and choose the starting point that suits the work.

Start from a template

Choose a website starting point when you want an established design and page structure. The template also supplies reusable sections for later pages.

Import a webpage

Import an existing webpage as a starting point, then edit the result in ProfitJam. The import creates a ProfitJam copy; it does not alter the source page.

Start with a blank page

Choose Blank Page when you want to build the page section by section.

Generate the next page with AI

Once the site's design direction is established, describe the next page you need and provide a reference URL if useful. ProfitJam generates one editable page at a time using your current Business Brain, brand settings, home-page design, and saved sections as context.

Establish the design

Treat the first finished page—usually the home page—as the design reference for the rest of the site. Set its colors, typography, spacing, image style, buttons, and common sections before creating several more pages.

A Brand Kit provides the design system and a starting section library automatically. Without one, save the sections you want to reuse as you build. Later AI-generated pages can use the home-page design and saved sections where they fit, then create the remaining sections in the same direction.

Note: A strong first page reduces repeated setup, but every later page still needs review before publication.

Review the pages

Read each page as a customer rather than as the business owner.

Correct facts at the source

If a generated fact is wrong, update the matching Business Brain section before generating more work. Then correct the existing page in the editor. If only the wording is wrong, edit the page directly.

Check contact details

Company details can appear in page placeholders and in structured data when the required information is available. Review the visible phone number, email address, location, and opening hours on the page itself rather than assuming every field was inserted.

Check every form

Select the form in the builder, connect it, and configure the fields and destinations for the job.

Confirm three things before publishing:

  1. Where the submission goes. Every accepted submission is stored, and you can add destinations such as an admin email, receipt email, lead and list, collection, or webhook.
  2. What happens next. Choose a redirect or a success message for the visitor.
  3. Whether the full flow works. Submit clearly labelled test details in Preview.

Warning: A Preview submission is real. It can send emails, add a lead or list member, call a webhook, or create a draft collection record.

Connect a domain

You can publish first at the ProfitJam address shown in the app and connect a custom domain when the site is ready.

Add the domain

Open Settings → Domains, enter the address you own, and choose which version should be primary when prompted.

Copy the DNS records

Add the exact records ProfitJam shows at your domain provider. The record types depend on the address and which version is primary.

Warning: Do not edit MX records. They control email. Change only the website records ProfitJam shows.

Wait for activation

ProfitJam checks the domain and activates secure HTTPS after the required records resolve. DNS timing varies, so keep the setup screen open or return later to check its status.

Replace an existing site safely

Publish and review the ProfitJam version at its temporary address first. Add validation records when requested, but replace the final website-routing records only when you are ready to move traffic.

Open Settings → Redirects and add redirects for important addresses from the previous site that do not match the new one. ProfitJam also creates redirects when you change the address of a page that was already published.

Publish the site

Before publishing:

  • Use Mobile view and Preview page, then test the page on a real phone.
  • Check that phone numbers, email links, buttons, and navigation go to the right place.
  • Review the public title, description, address, share image, and search visibility in Page Settings.
  • Upload the site favicon under Settings → Branding → Site icons.
  • Remove placeholder copy and images.

Select Publish to send the current page live. Use Publish all pages when you want to publish every eligible, non-archived page in the workspace.

What to do next

  • Connect the social, email, or advertising channels you plan to use.
  • Open Home for a seven-day summary of leads, sales, earned, and spent.
  • Open Reports for the wider channel breakdown.
  • Review the pages again after real activity begins and improve the weakest one first.

Results appear after ProfitJam has activity to report. A new site may not show results immediately.

Common questions

Can I add more pages later?

Yes. Generate the next page with AI, reuse a kit or saved section, import another webpage, or start blank. A finished home page and saved sections make later pages faster to design consistently.

Do I need to know anything about SEO?

ProfitJam updates structured data, the sitemap, robots file, and other technical search files when you publish. You should still review each page's title, description, share image, business details, and search visibility.

What happens to my old site?

Nothing changes when you import or build inside ProfitJam. The old site remains where it is until you activate its custom domain for the ProfitJam site.

Can I export the site if I leave?

You can export leads as CSV. Advanced users can also copy a page's component JSON between ProfitJam pages. ProfitJam does not currently export the entire site as a ready-to-host website package.
