Connecting a channel gives ProfitJam a secure route to publish and measure work for your business. You authorize one provider login for the channel, then choose the exact Page, account, board, or other destination when you publish.

That separation keeps setup quick without hiding an important choice: the login proves which destinations you can use, while each publication records where this particular piece of content should go.

Before you connect

Have these ready:

  • The login you normally use with the provider.
  • Access to the business destinations you want ProfitJam to find under that login.
  • Permission in your browser to open the provider's sign-in window.

You sign in on the provider's own screen. ProfitJam does not ask you to save that provider password inside your workspace; it stores the resulting connection securely.

Connect the provider

  1. Open Integrations from the main menu.
  2. Find the provider you want and select Connect.
  3. Sign in on the provider's screen and review the permissions it asks you to approve.
  4. Complete the provider's confirmation. The window returns the connection to ProfitJam.
  5. Open Integrations → Installed and confirm that the provider shows as Connected.

Connect each channel you plan to use. For example, Facebook and Instagram appear as separate connections because they publish to different destinations and use different provider permissions, even when you authorize both with the same Meta login.

Choose where content goes

The connection does not force every post to one destination. When you publish social content, select the channel and then choose the Page, account, board, or author that should receive it.

ProfitJam selects the destination automatically when the provider returns only one. When it finds several, the publish screen asks you to choose. That choice stays with the placement, including a post scheduled for later.

Review the destination together with the content version and timing before you confirm. The same source post can be sent to several connected channels, with a separate destination and status for each one.

Keep the connection healthy

ProfitJam checks whether a selected channel is connected and ready before it publishes. If the provider expires or revokes access, the publish flow tells you to reconnect instead of sending through a known-broken connection.

Reconnect from Integrations and approve the provider again. Then return to the content and confirm its destination before publishing or rescheduling it.

Important: A scheduled post still needs an active connection when its publishing time arrives. Reconnect before that time if a channel reports expired or revoked access.

Disconnect a channel

Open Integrations → Installed, open the menu on the connection, and select Disconnect.

Disconnecting removes the saved connection from the workspace. It does not take down posts that already went live on the provider, but ProfitJam cannot publish new or scheduled work through that channel until you connect it again.

Common questions

Do I enter my provider password in ProfitJam?

No. The provider handles the sign-in and permission screen. ProfitJam receives and protects the resulting access connection rather than storing your provider password.

Can one connection show several Pages or accounts?

Yes, when the provider makes several destinations available under that login. ProfitJam asks you to choose the destination when you publish instead of treating them as separate passwords or connections.

Why do I choose the destination when publishing?

It makes the target explicit for each piece of content. It also lets a scheduled placement retain the same destination until its publishing time.

What should I do when a channel says reconnect?

Open Integrations, connect the provider again, and approve the requested access. Then reopen the content and check its destination before publishing.

Does disconnecting delete my published posts?

No. Posts already published remain on the provider. Disconnecting stops ProfitJam from using that connection for future publishing and collection until it is connected again.
