Collections turn repeatable content into a structured part of your site. Define the fields once, add records such as testimonials, projects, resources, or articles, and present them through a consistent list page and detail page.
Use a collection when several pages or cards share the same shape. Instead of rebuilding each item by hand, you update the record and let the connected pages keep the design consistent.
Open Collections and select Create. Choose the starting point that best matches the content:
Templates give you a useful structure immediately. You can still adjust a regular collection's fields afterwards.
Open the collection and select Schema. Every collection already has Title, Slug, and Date. Add the other fields each record needs, such as text, rich text, numbers, dates, images, galleries, URLs, colors, or a set of choices.
Decide the structure before importing many records. Clear field names make editing easier and make every connected page more predictable.
Tip: Create fields for information you plan to filter, style, or reuse separately. Keep a long description in one rich-text field rather than splitting it without a clear reason.
Select Records, then choose Create to add one record or Import to bring in a CSV file.
For a CSV import, download the template first, fill it with your content, and map each column to the correct collection field. You can import up to 500 rows at a time. Imported rows begin as drafts, giving you a chance to review them before they appear on the site.
Open the page that should show the collection in the builder and choose Set as list page. Select Collection, then choose the collection you want to display.
The list page presents the records together, while the linked detail page controls the layout for an individual record. Design both views, check them in Preview, and publish the pages when they are ready.
Only published records appear publicly. When you change a record or the collection structure later, ProfitJam refreshes the connected live pages.
Regular collection records use a simple draft and published workflow:
Keep a record as a draft until you want it live, then publish it manually. For articles that need timed publication, use the blog workflow.
A workspace can have one collection selected as its blog destination. Blog fields and posts are managed through Content, so they are protected from ordinary editing inside Collections.
Create or open the article in Content, then use its publishing controls to publish now or choose a scheduled option. ProfitJam publishes the finished post into the blog collection and uses the connected blog pages for its public presentation.
Tip: Use Collections for structured records you publish when ready, and Content for blog posts that should publish on a schedule.
Yes. Open Schema to add, edit, reorder, or remove fields in a regular collection. Review connected pages after a structural change to make sure the design still suits the content.
Open Content to edit and publish blog posts. The active blog collection is their website destination, keeping the writing and publishing workflow together.
Open Records and check whether it is still a draft. Only published records appear publicly. If it is published, also confirm that the page is connected to the correct collection and that the page itself is live.
